競賽規範 Competition Guidelines

一、活動說明

為鼓勵本學院學生積極參與研究，提昇本學院學生之研究風氣，特舉辦醫學院研究成果展示及口頭發表競賽。期許學生在參賽過程中，跨域學習，發掘自身興趣之研究方向，並可深化自我肯定之研究價值，進而在成果報告中以壁報論文展出與口頭競賽方式呈現。敬請同學踴躍參加，亦請老師鼓勵學生報名參加，詳細說明如下:

二、參加資格

1.本學院大學部、碩、博士班學生均可參賽。

2.本學院教師所屬博士後研究員與助理。

3.本學院教師指導的非本學院研究生。

三、主題領域：生物醫學相關研究領域。

四、活動日期：114年4月14~17日(星期一~四)

五、投稿規定：

1.投稿摘要一律以英文撰寫。

2.口頭報告：

（1）報告時間：114年4月15日(星期二) 與4月16日(星期三) (分組進行)

（2）報告地點：高雄醫學大學國研大樓B2- B廳走廊

（3）報告方式：口頭報告5分鐘內(含簡介與問答)，中英文不限。

3.貼示報告：

（1）發表型式：電子海報（E-poster）

（2）貼示時間：114年4月14~17日(星期一~四)

（3）貼示地點：高雄醫學大學國際學術研究大樓B2-B廳走廊

六、貼示報告格式：

a.貼示報告內容以英文呈現

b.電子壁報格式:直式尺寸: 高101.6公分*寬57.14公分

c.數據圖表及文字大小以能清楚閱讀為原則，圖片解析度須為 300dpi（檔案放大 2 倍時圖片仍然清晰）。

d.壁報論文內容應包括摘要、背景介紹、實驗方法、結果、討論、參考文獻等項目。

c.壁報內容以一頁為限，應以參賽者(第一作者)的實驗成果為主，海報設計、顏色、排版可自由發揮。

七、提交摘要即表示您同意我們將您的摘要及相關資料（例如電子海報全文檔案）用於研討會相關用途（例如網站、電子海報展等）。

八、獎勵辦法：

    分為學士組、碩士組與博士組，每組前三名與佳作可獲獎狀及獎金乙份。得獎名額可從缺或依實際參賽人數之百分之二十增減得獎人數。

九、主辦單位保有最終修改、變更、活動解釋及取消本活動之權利，若有相關異動將會公告於網站或另行通知。

1. Event Description

To encourage students in our college to actively engage in research and to enhance the research culture, the College of Medicine is organizing a Research Results Presentation and Oral Presentation Competition. We hope that students, through participation, will engage in interdisciplinary learning, explore research directions aligned with their interests, deepen their self-affirmation of research value, and present their research through poster presentations and oral competitions. We sincerely invite students to participate, and we also encourage faculty members to motivate students to register. Detailed information is as follows:

2. Eligibility

  1. Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral students of our college may participate.
  2. Postdoctoral researchers and assistants affiliated with faculty members of our college.
  3. Graduate students supervised by faculty members of our college, but not enrolled in our college.

3. Topic Categories: Biomedical-related research fields.

4. Event Dates: April 14–17, 2024 (Monday–Thursday)

5. Submission Guidelines:

  1. Abstracts must be written in English.

  2. Oral Presentations:

    • Presentation Dates: April 15, 2024 (Tuesday) and April 16, 2024 (Wednesday) (Grouped presentations)
    • Presentation Location: Kaohsiung Medical University, National Research Building B2-B Hall Corridor
    • Presentation Format: Oral presentation within 5 minutes (including introduction and Q&A), either in Chinese or English.

  3. Poster Presentations:

    • Presentation Format: Electronic poster (E-poster)
    • Poster Presentation Dates: April 14–17, 2024 (Monday–Thursday)
    • Presentation Location: Kaohsiung Medical University, International Academic Research Building B2-B Hall Corridor

6. Poster Presentation Format:

a. Poster content should be presented in English.
b. Electronic poster format: Portrait orientation, size: 101.6 cm (height) * 57.14 cm (width).
c. Data charts and text size should be clear and readable, with image resolution at 300 dpi (images must remain clear when enlarged twice).
d. The poster should include the following sections: abstract, background introduction, experimental methods, results, discussion, and references.
e. The poster should be limited to one page and should focus on the experimental results of the participant (first author). The poster design, color, and layout are open to creativity.

7. By submitting an abstract, you agree that your abstract and related materials (such as the full electronic poster file) may be used for conference-related purposes (such as website and electronic poster exhibition).

8. Awards:

The competition will be divided into Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral categories. The top three in each category, along with honorable mentions, will receive certificates and cash awards. The number of awardees may be adjusted by 20%, depending on the actual number of participants.

9. The organizers reserve the right to make final modifications, changes, explanations, or cancellations of this event. Any relevant changes will be announced on the website or notified separately.
